At Babington House we actively promote the wellbeing of all our students.  This includes ensuring their physical, mental health and emotional wellbeing are at the forefront of all that we do.

NURTURING BRIGHT MINDS

Bright students who are on target to go to top universities such as Oxford or Imperial, need to be supported and guided on their journey and we pride ourselves on promoting a safe culture supported by an extensive network of staff who are responsible for their emotional and physical wellbeing.

“If you can’t reach them, you can’t teach them”.  S McIntosh, Designated Safeguarding Lead

This message lies at the heart of the pastoral care that we provide. Our pupils are encouraged, supported and guided throughout their time at Babington House and through our dedicated safeguarding and well-being lead, we provide a safe space for our pupils to come and share any concerns or worries that they may have in a confidential and supportive environment with the additional care from our four-legged furry pastoral team member, Ronnie, our wellbeing dog who the children adore.

ENABLING CHILDREN TO REACH THEIR FULL POTENTIAL

At Babington House School we believe in the importance of valuing all children, regardless of their abilities or difficulties. Providing a broad and balanced curriculum which is differentiated to meet individual needs, that enables all children to reach their potential through effective teaching. We also recognise the importance of effective assessment and provision for children with SEN. Secured with collaboration and partnership between parents/ carers, children and any relevant external agencies.
